What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a preventive and curative manual therapy that is dedicated to optimizing the nervous system through the spine. Its main objective is to re-establish optimal communication between the brain and the body as a whole, thus allowing for improved general physiology and achieving an optimal state of health.
The chiropractor intervenes to prevent and correct dysfunctions of the nervous system. By restoring the overall balance of the body, he does not limit himself to alleviating the symptoms but deals with their deep causes.
To achieve this, the chiropractor corrects neuro-articular interferences, particularly at the level of the spine and other joints, acting directly on the nervous system thanks to his main therapeutic tool: the chiropractic adjustment.
PHYSICAL – METABOLIC – EMOTIONAL
Physical, metabolic and emotional stress can hinder the proper functioning of the nervous system.
Term that designates any interference at the level of the nervous system.
The adjustment is a gentle, fast and specific therapeutic gesture that allows the nervous system to be freed from its interferences (subluxations).
Our mission
During our life journey, we are exposed to multiple stress factors: work pressures, inadequate postural habits, accidents, sports injuries, as well as significant emotional and psychological burdens.
When our body reaches its limit of adaptation to these stresses, restrictions or interference in the communication of the nervous system can occur, a phenomenon that we call vertebral subluxation.
Progressively, these subluxations compromise the body’s optimal capacity for functioning. In this state of functional deterioration, there is an energetic stagnation, a reduction in our natural vitality, a lower resistance to pathological processes and a decrease in our ability to manage daily demands.
Vertebral subluxations are a common phenomenon that goes unnoticed, as in their initial stages they usually develop without obvious manifestations. For this reason, periodic chiropractic evaluations are essential to preserve spinal and neurological integrity, as well as to implement preventive strategies.
The chiropractic professional has the specialized training necessary to identify, evaluate and correct vertebral subluxations, thus optimizing body performance and strengthening adaptation mechanisms to daily demands.

The Health Triangle

Chiropractic recognizes that repetitive injuries or microinjuries in any of the three fundamental systems that govern our body constitute the main causes of imbalance and disease: the structural system, the biochemical system and the psychoemotional system.
To achieve optimal health, these three components must be maintained in perfect balance, forming what is known as the “health triangle”. Any alteration that compromises one of these levels inevitably generates repercussions in the other two systems. For this reason, when structural balance is restored through chiropractic care, significant improvements are also observed in the psychological and metabolic aspects of the individual.
